Een van de oorzaken daarvoor is dat veel mensen niet (voldoende) op de hoogte zijn van de mogelijkheden van vrijwillige palliatieve terminale zorg. Maar liefst een op de vier van de nabestaanden waarbij VPTZ ondersteuning heeft geboden, zegt achteraf dat ze de hulp van de vrijwilligers eerder hadden moeten inroepen.<\/p>\n<p>Redenen om flink aan de weg te blijven timmeren om de bekendheid van het werk van de vrijwilligers te vergroten. En natuurlijk doen we dat. Maar ook u kunt ons daarbij helpen. Gewoon, door anderen op ons bestaan te wijzen. Onderzoek geeft aan dat mensen het liefst ge\u00efnformeerd worden over ons werk, door iemand in hun directe omgeving.<\/p>\n<h3>Dus zeg het voort<\/h3>\n<p>Niet omdat iedereen voor de ondersteuning door VPTZ zou moeten kiezen, maar om iedereen de keuzemogelijkheid te laten ervaren.
