\"VPTZ<\/a>Het verzorgen van iemand in de laatste levensfase kan erg zwaar zijn. Ook al is er hulp van de thuiszorg, wijkverpleging en de huisarts. De vrijwilligers van VPTZ (Vrijwilligers Palliatieve Terminale Zorg) Zuidoost Friesland staan familie, vrienden of buren bij in de zorg.<\/p>\n

Praktische zorg<\/h3>\n

Onze vrijwilligers geven praktische zorg zoals familie, vrienden of buren die als mantelzorgers kunnen geven: helpen bij eten en drinken, de zieke verfrissen en weer \u2018lekker\u2019 in bed leggen, of bijvoorbeeld samen een wandeling maken. Daarbij is er alle ruimte voor luisteren of samen praten.
\nDe vrijwilliger kan ook een paar uur per dag de taak van de mantelzorger overnemen, zodat deze een paar uurtjes voor zichzelf heeft en op adem kan komen.<\/p>\n

VPTZ vrijwilliger meerdere malen per dag<\/h3>\n

Soms heeft iemand in de laatste levensfase weinig mantelzorgers en wil hij\/zij toch graag thuis sterven. In zo\u2019n situatie is het ook mogelijk dat er meerdere malen per dag een VPTZ vrijwilliger komt.<\/p>\n

VPTZ vrijwilliger in verzorgingstehuis of zorginstelling<\/h3>\n

Ook kunnen onze vrijwilligers extra aandacht en ondersteuning in de laatste levensfase bieden voor bewoners in bv verzorgingshuizen of andere zorginstellingen. Hier is wel personeel aanwezig maar die hebben soms weinig tijd om bij iemands bed te gaan zitten.<\/p>\n

VPTZ vrijwilliger \u2019s nachts<\/h3>\n

Er kan eventueel ook incidenteel ondersteuning in de nacht worden geboden.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Voor zorg in de thuissituatie wordt er geen financi\u00eble bijdrage gevraagd. Een gift of donatie om onze activiteiten te ondersteunen wordt uiteraard zeer op prijs gesteld.

Co\u00f6rdinatie<\/h3>\n

De co\u00f6rdinatie van het inzetten van de vrijwilligers in de thuissituatie is in handen van onze co\u00f6rdinator. Klik hier voor de contactinformatie<\/a>.
\nZij is tevens het vaste aanspreekpunt voor de betrokkene, de familie, de vrijwilliger, de thuiszorg en de huisarts.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Vrijwilligers<\/h3>\n

Ons team van vrijwilligers wordt met zorg samengesteld. Vanzelfsprekend treden zij, ieder op hun eigen manier, de betrokkene en de naasten liefdevol en respectvol tegemoet. Onze vrijwilligers worden regelmatig getraind en professioneel begeleid.
\nIn de thuissituatie worden vrijwilligers in overleg met de co\u00f6rdinator voor \u00e9\u00e9n of meerdere dagdelen per week ingezet.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Nazorg<\/h3>\n

De ondersteuning aan de mantelzorgers beperkt zich niet tot de periode van ziekte en overlijden. Vanzelfsprekend is er ruimte voor nazorg en een zorgvuldige afronding van het contact met de familie.<\/p>\n<\/div>
